From our 3-star hotel in Vichy centre
the spa town at your feet!
Vichy, the capital of well-being and fitness, is as seductive as it is invigorating! The queen of the spa towns, a little jewel of architecture, plays harmonious scores between the Second Empire and Belle Epoque styles: the Parc and the hall of the Sources, the bandstand, the façade of the Opera-Grand Casino, the Strauss villa, the Saint-Louis and Saint-Blaise church, the imperial chalets, the Napoleon III galleries, the houses with bow windows, the large thermal establishments...
In addition to these architectural marvels, Vichy is a green city with 140 hectares of parks. Recognised for its quality of life and that of its environment, it has been awarded 4 flowers since 1967, the Grand Prix National de Fleurissement since 1989, and the National Tree Award in 1996. The Allier Parks, with the Napoleon Park and the Kennedy Park, were created by decision of Emperor Napoleon III during his visits to Vichy from 1862 to 1866. True oases of greenery, these English-inspired parks are the ideal place to run, stroll, rest or observe rare or exotic species.
Thanks to the many facilities and loops provided, you can discover the surrounding countryside by bike. Numerous rides around the Voie Verte will take you to the most important sites, between historical and natural heritage.
The Midland hotel, close to the Palais des Congrès, the thermal baths and the Allier lake, is also at the heart of Vichy's cultural and sporting activities: summer entertainment on the Plage des Célestins, Centre Omnisports, aquatic stadium, games for children, horse races, golf (18-hole course of the Sporting Club de Vichy 3 km from the hotel), operas, theatres, concerts... By staying at the Midland, you will have all the leisure to discover on foot the city that is nicknamed the continental "French Riviera"!
