Stay at our hotel in the centre of Vichy
and have the spa town at your feet
A capital for wellness and fitness, Vichy is as seductive as it is rejuvenating.
The “Queen of Spa Towns” and architectural jewel features a mix of Second Empire and Belle Époque delights, such as the Parc and Hall des Sources, the bandstand, the façade of the Grand Casino at the Opéra de Vichy, the Strauss Villa, the Saint Louis-Saint Blaise church, the imperial chalets, the Napoleon III Galleries, the bow-window houses, and the main thermal institutes.
Beyond the architectural delights, Vichy is a green town with 140 hectares of park. Renowned for its quality of life and environment, it has been a “4 flower” Ville Fleurie (floral town) since 1967, won the Grand National Prize for Floral Displays in 1989 and won the National Tree Prize in 1996. The Parcs d’Allier, alongside the Parc Napoléon and Parc Kennedy, were created by the demand of Emperor Napoleon III on his visits to Vichy from 1862 to 1866. True green oases, these English-style parks are the ideal place to run, wandering about, resting or observing rare and exotic species.
Located near the Palais des Congrès, the thermal baths and the Lac d’Allier, the hotel is also great for experiencing Vichy’s cultural and sporting activities. Discover the summer activities on the Plage des Célestins, the multi-sports centre, the aquatic stadium, games for children, horse races, golf (18-hole course at Vichy Sporting Club, just 3 km from the hotel), operas, theatre and concerts. By staying at the Midland, you’ll have be able to discover on foot what people call the “Inland French Riviera”!
